What is Get the Picture Corporation?

Get the Picture Corporation designs, operates, and supports personalization and photography systems. These systems include everything from automated photography to point of sale registers. GTP Corp. captures, displays, and sells the best images to your customers.


Automated Photography

Photos are captured automatically and transferred instantly to a monitor for customer previewing and purchasing. For example, automated photography is used on amusement park rides and tour ride attractions.


Roaming Photography

Customers are photographed throughout a venue or at key locations and are given information on how to preview and purchase their photo. Then, customers preview and purchase their photos at a central locations.


Tethered Photography

Photos are transmitted instantly to a computer for customer approval wirelessly or through a wired link. This is ideal for set photography.

Who is the GTP Team?

The GTP team's number one priority is excellent customer service. We start with a smile and treat each guest as we would like to be treated. We are hardworking folks who enjoy interacting with each guests as if they were the only guest.

Just like our guests, the GTP team varies from students to retirees. Many employees return year after year to this one of a kind job opportunity. While many of our positions are summer jobs, there are opportunities for employees to work weekends and evenings throughout the year.

Currently, GTP Corp offers two types of positions:


Sales Representative

Individuals seeking the Sales Representative position should be customer service oriented, outgoing, and have the desire to work in a team environment.


Commissioned Photographer

Individuals seeking the Commissioned Photographer position should be customer service oriented, outgoing, and self-motivated. Photography experience for this position is encouraged, but not necessary due to onsite training.

Depending upon the venue you work at, you may receive complimentary admission, passes, discounts, and/or other perks. Specifically, If you work at one of our HERSHEYPARK® locations, you can use your valid employee ID card for FREE admission to HERSHEYPARK®. If you work at one of our HERSHEYPARK® locations, you may receive complimentary HERSHEYPARK® Guest Passes.

Employee events and parties throughout the season complete with free food, select rides and arcades open (venue dependent).

Discounts on select merchandise and food (venue dependent).

GTP's Refer-a-Friend Program provides employees with a potential $50.00 bonus for each friend and/or family member who is referred to work for GTP Corp. $25.00 will be paid upon the referral's first day of work and another $25.00 upon the referrals 120 hour anniversary.

Employment Frequently Asked Questions

How old do I have to be to work for GTP Corp?
Child Labor Laws require an individual to be at least 14 years of age. Positions for 14 and 15 year olds are limited in quantity due to the individuals' availability and Child Labor Laws.

Do I need any qualifications?

How much will I get paid?
Scroll to the bottom of the page to see our current pay rates. Pay increases are determined by the total accumulative hours worked and performance standards. Commissioned photographers will be paid their base wage in addition to various commission structures that can result in substantially increased hourly rates. Sales associates are eligible for commission on certain products as well.

How do I apply to work for GTP?
An application can be filled out and submitted online any time. Please keep in mind the majority of hiring is completed every year in-between March and August.

What do I need to bring to my interview?
Please bring a photo ID card (either a driver's license or school ID card) and your Social Security Card. If you are unable to provide either of these documents, please ask for a list of acceptable alternative identification documents. Please remember to be punctual and dress professionally for your interview.



How many hours will I work each week?
Employees under the age of 18 are restricted by Child Labor Laws on the number of hours of work each week. Please discuss your availability, including sports/band camps, vacations, and other schedule conflicts with management at the time of your interview.

How does scheduling work?
Schedules are posted two weeks in advance via an online scheduling program. The scheduling managers do their best to be flexible and accommodate all types of schedules. It is the employee's responsibility to properly use the tools within the online scheduling program to avoid any scheduling conflicts in a timely and proper manner.

What do I wear to work?
GTP Corp provides each employee with two uniform shirts at a discounted cost to the employee (dependent upon the venue). It is the responsibility of the employee to provide the rest of the uniform. Each venue has specific uniform requirements which will be discussed during the interview.

What do I need to do before my first day of work?
There are several tasks which need to be completed before the first day of work. Minors (under the age of 18) are required by law to have a working permit on file. It is the employees' responsibility to obtain their own work permit. Please complete all necessary paperwork given to you at the time of your interview and turn it in on your first day of work. Each venue has different security (ID card, name tag, parking passes, etc.) requirements and you are require to obtain your ID card, etc. prior to your first day of work.

When is my first day of work?
Each individual's first day of work depends on the individual's availability. Your first will be discussed during the interview process. You will be contacted by a manager to discuss your schedule via the online scheduling software.

Pay Rates and Raises Schedule

Sales Associate

  • Level I - Employees who are 14 or 15 years old and employees who can only work open shifts.
    • Start at $7.25 with raises at the first 200 hrs and every 300 hours worked until a max of 1700 hours is reached.

  • Level II - Employees who are 16 or older and are available for closing shifts at their venue.
    • Start at $7.65 with raises at the first 200 hrs and every 300 hours worked until a max of 1700 hours is reached.

  • Sales Associates are also eligible for commission on certain products. Contact management for details.

Commissioned Photogrpaher

(Hersheypark, Dutch Wonderland, Strasburg Rail Road, Camelback Mountain Resort)

Base rate (Sales Associate level I or II) plus $0.50 Per Picture Sold once an average of 4 pictures sold per hour is met.

Example: You work an 8 hour shift and sell 75 photos. 8 Hours / 4 Photos = 32 Photo Minimum 75 is greater than the 32 Photo Minimum; 75 x $0.50 = $37.50 earned in commission for that shift.
